JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Extension Veterinarian and Research Team seeks to hire part-time research assistants. This part-time position works directly with the veterinarians and researchers in Extension to complete research tasks and gather data. This position will help with field data collection assisting with applied research practices such as blood sampling and animal temperature assessment, among others. Furthermore, the successful candidate(s) will assist with data uploading and management, as well as laboratory samples analyses. A successful candidate(s) will work with Spanish-speaking farm personnel, will conduct surveys, interviews and questionaries. While a bilingual candidate is preferred, it is not required.
