Job description

Job Title: Principal Operations Analyst - Tooling & Systems
Department: Client Success - Operational Excellence
Reports To: AVP, Operational Excellence
Location: Hybrid Plano, TX Columbia, SC Indianapolis, IN New Orleans, LA Remote
Job Summary
The Principal Operations Analyst - Tooling is the dedicated owner of the technology stack that powers the Client Success organization, ensuring Selerix's tools are configured deliberately, owned by one accountable person, and evolving as fast as the business needs them to. This role exists because Selerix needs one person who understands the full picture of how our tools work, how they connect, and how they should evolve, rather than a group of people tinkering around the edges.
Today, that stack centers on Monday.com as the operating system for CS project execution and time tracking, and HubSpot as the CRM and client data source of truth. This is a hands-on role: the person in this seat builds, configures, troubleshoots, and improves the systems that facilitate an exceptional client experience, and serves as a strategic thought partner to the AVP of Operational Excellence on where tooling needs to go next. They are expected to understand the business context behind each request, push back when something isn't feasible, and bring ideas to the table the AVP hasn't thought of yet.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the project management tool, currently Monday.com, across the Client Success organization.
  • Design, build, and maintain boards, workflows, automations, and integrations that reflect how CS teams work while improving visibility into how they work.
  • Own the open enrollment and implementation project workflows, taking the current foundation further as the business evolves.
  • Ensure time tracking is operational and consistent across all CS teams and aligns to financial reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement automations that reduce manual, low-value work and create capacity for the teams who serve clients.
  • Serve as the intake point for Monday.com requests from CS teams, partnering with the AVP to triage and prioritize what gets built.
  • Develop working proficiency in HubSpot to serve as the CS counterpart in the ongoing HubSpot-Monday.com integration.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure Client Success business requirements are clearly defined, translated, and maintained.
  • Ensure HubSpot is functioning as the source of truth for client data, flagging gaps or inconsistencies that affect CS team workflows.
  • Support the CS team's adoption of HubSpot, including training, documentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports across Monday.com, HubSpot, and Power BI that give CS leadership the visibility they need to make decisions.
  • Maintain proficiency in adjacent tools, including Power BI and Power Automate, to support reporting automation and workflow integration.
  • Translate CS operational workflows into tooling configurations that are logical, sustainable, and scalable.
  • Proactively identify manual workarounds and design tool-based solutions that eliminate them.
  • Document configurations, workflows, and automations so institutional knowledge is always current and accessible.
  • Serve as an active thought partner to the AVP, helping evaluate whether a proposed approach is the right one, and flag feasibility concerns before work begins.
  • Help establish and enforce standards for how tools are used across the organization.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience administering and optimizing project management software in a multi-client environment, preferably Monday.com.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and build workflows and automations, not just configure out-of-the-box features.
  • Experience working in or alongside a CRM; HubSpot experience strongly preferred, Salesforce or equivalent considered.
  • Strong analytical instincts, comfortable working with data and translating findings into action.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can translate technical constraints for non-technical stakeholders and push back on requests that aren't feasible.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage competing requests without dropping balls.
  • Self-directed, able to take a business problem and figure out the tool solution without a step-by-step spec.
  • Experience with the HubSpot-Monday.com integration or similar CRM-to-PM tool integrations preferred.
  • Proficiency or working knowledge of Power BI for dashboard and reporting development preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation across the Microsoft ecosystem preferred.
  • Background in a SaaS, benefits administration, or HR technology company preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
