Candidates will be allowed to work remotely. At times Candidate may be required to work onsite or attend meetings in Raleigh, NC. Client will not pay for travel expenses if candidate is required to report on-site.  Candidate must work EST Business Hours.
Our direct client has an opening for an Infrastructure Security SME position # 716542. 
This position is for 12+ months, with option of extension, and will be worked in remotely but the candidate is required to report on-site in Raleigh, NC, as needed (must work EST business hours).

Description:
The Infrastructure Security SME is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in the security architectural design and implementation of new IT Infrastructure in a new campus. Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.
Description (including, but not limited to):
  • Technical expertise centered around IT Security, implementation, and architecture for an enterprise environment.
  • Specialization in technical security environment for new building construction
  • Successful development and maintenance of formal strategies, sourcing guidance, technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, architecture patterns and technology roadmaps for technical security domain
  • Successful completion of technology projects within area of security implementations.
  • Definition and management of team structure and resource levels to support business needs for the overall environment
  • Conducting industry and market research of technologies and general themes in assigned architecture areas.
  • Engaging agency subject matter experts, business liaisons, and DIT representatives as to ensure proper alignment between business and IT within Security discipline.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team to accomplish design and implementation objectives for new infrastructure environments. 

Required/Desired Skills: 
  • Must be able to identify and communicate IT Security needs for new infrastructure in new building(s) - Required - 10 Years
  • Must be able to successfully design all security needs for the new infrastructure Architecture - Required - 10 Years
  • Experience installing security Technologies throughout new environment - Required - 10 Years
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment - Required - 10 Years
  • Must be able to identify and communicate all IT Security needs to all audiences, both technical and non-technical - Required - 10 Years
