Description
RFGH is seeking a detail-oriented and technology-driven HRIS Specialist to support our Human Resources department and advance our organization's use of HR technology. This position serves as the organization's subject matter expert for our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, system optimization, reporting accuracy, and process automation. The HRIS Specialist works closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Information Technology, Finance, and department leaders to maximize the value of HR technology and support informed decision-making. This position is a full time remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of employee data.
- Configure workflows, forms, business rules, and automated processes within the HRIS.
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, workforce metrics, and data analytics to support organizational decision-making.
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports for Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, compliance reporting, and executive leadership.
- Coordinate HRIS upgrades, system testing, implementation of new features, and change management activities.
- Troubleshoot system issues and serve as the primary liaison with HRIS software vendors.
- Train Human Resources staff, managers, and system users on HRIS functionality and best practices.
- Support integrations between the HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, timekeeping systems, and the hospital's electronic health record.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, workflow enhancements, and technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and data validation activities.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of HRIS administration experience.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Experience integrating HRIS with payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems.
- Experience with HRIS implementations, upgrades, or system conversions.
- Knowledge of SQL, report-writing tools, data visualization platforms (such as Power BI), or workflow automation tools.
- Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, HRIP, or related technology certification preferred.
Pay Range: $27.90-$45.46 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
