Accounting Manager – Remote Flexibility
About the Company and Opportunity:

  • Our repeat client is a healthcare technology company that provides data management, analytics, and software solutions to support clinical trials and improve decision-making in drug development.
  • Due to a vacancy, they are hiring an Accounting Manager. This position is remote!
  • Duration: 1-2 months
  • Pay: 40-44/hr, depending on experience

Overview of the Accounting Manager role:

  • Oversee the billing department (3 staff)
  • Running payroll (110 employees; biweekly/semi-monthly)
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Month-end close
  • Deferred Revenue / Revenue Recognition
  • Ad hoc projects/reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related is required
  • Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Power Query)
  • SAAS experience is a plus
  • Supervisory experience is required
  • Maxio (previously known as SAASOptics), ADP Total Source, and Sage Intacct experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
