• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and psychological needs. This involves exploring clients' histories, strengths, and resources in a supportive environment.
• Provide individualized therapy, family counseling, and group therapy using specific evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy tailored to hospice care dynamics.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that include concrete goals and actionable interventions, ensuring they are reflective of individual client needs and circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with an interprofessional team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver cohesive and streamlined care, ensuring all aspects of clients' well-being are addressed.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans to respond effectively to acute situations.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate psychoeducation classes and support groups to empower clients with skills and knowledge that can enhance their coping abilities.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our remote setting, you will primarily serve clients in hospice care, dealing with grief, bereavement, and mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety that often accompany terminal illness. This role requires compassion and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in end-of-life issues, enabling you to provide sought-after support for both individuals and their families.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is essential.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, bolstered by excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working with hospice or palliative care clients is highly advantageous.
