Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team primarily serves a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with emotional distress, anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health challenges that come with terminal illnesses. As a therapist at Blue Ridge, you will play a pivotal role in stabilizing their mental well-being while providing compassionate support to both clients and their families during challenging transitions.

Qualifications
  • Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy, demonstrating a thorough understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain effective workload management within a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working specifically within outpatient settings, particularly focusing on end-of-life care, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Ability to work with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.
