Job description

Description:

We are seeking a Grief/Bereavement Support Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role (40 hours) and requires schedule flexibility for occasional weekend/evening coverage. In this role, you'll provide bereavement and group support to hospice families, manage an assigned caseload of bereaved families following patient deaths, determine the appropriate level of bereavement care according to individual preference, provide information on grief programs offered, complete data collection and reporting in accordance with licensing guidelines, and facilitate education and training for staff and volunteers.

Requirements:
  • MSW or MDiv with four units of Clinical Pastoral Education required
  • Grief counseling experience is preferred
