Job description

Grief/Bereavement Support Specialist

HPCIC is seeking a Grief/Bereavement Support Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role (Monday-Friday 8a-5p) and requires schedule flexibility for occasional weekend/evening coverage. We're seeking a candidate with an MSW or MDiv with four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (grief counseling experience is preferred).

This role will provide bereavement and group support to hospice families, manage an assigned caseload of bereaved families following patient deaths, determine the appropriate level of bereavement care according to individual preference, provide information on grief programs offered, complete data collection and reporting in accordance with licensing guidelines, and facilitate education and training for staff and volunteers.

Competitive salary with full benefit package with 95% paid health insurance as well as mileage and cell phone reimbursement available.
