Position Overview

Blue Ridge Hospice Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our committed team of mental health professionals. This full-time position offers remote work flexibility, allowing you to provide vital services to clients from the comfort of your own space while also maintaining a connection to our outpatient office in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients to foster a therapeutic alliance that promotes effective treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each individual or family.
  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal care and support.
  • Provide referrals to additional specialists or resources when needed, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support for their diverse needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health challenges, including relationship conflicts, trauma, depression, and anxiety. As an LMFT at Blue Ridge Hospice Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by guiding clients through their personal journeys and aiding in their recovery and growth.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, equipping you with the foundational knowledge necessary for this role.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing individual and/or group therapy in clinical settings, ideally with a focus on marriage and family dynamics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage various cases and administrative tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
