Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility for therapists to manage their schedules while continuing to offer exceptional care. Technology will be a vital tool in your role, as you will utilize telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) to conduct sessions and maintain accurate client documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with clients through active listening, empathy, and validation of their experiences.
• Conduct thorough assessments for clients, including diagnostic interviews and mental health evaluations, to inform treatment planning.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals. These plans may incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing multimedia tools and interactive techniques to engage clients effectively.
• Continuously evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring the most effective interventions are utilized.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Blue Ridge Hospice Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals and families from varied backgrounds. Our clients may present with a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related challenges. Your expertise will be key in helping these clients navigate their therapeutic journeys.

Qualifications

• Current and active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience providing therapy to diverse populations, with a focus on individual and group therapy.
• Strong ability in organizational skills and time management to efficiently manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community health settings or similar environments where teamwork and client-centered approaches are highly valued.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
