Position Overview

Blue Ridge Hospice Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and clinically skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients to facilitate open communication.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose a range of mental health conditions, tailoring treatment strategies to meet individual needs.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans, adapting them as necessary based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress through regular check-ins and documentation, ensuring alignment with their therapeutic goals.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines within the psychotherapy field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, and other personal challenges. Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of New Jersey.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years’ experience providing individual and/or group therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and techniques for providing effective virtual counseling.
• Experience in crafting and implementing evidence-based treatment within outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing administrative tasks efficiently alongside clinical responsibilities.
