As a Physical Therapist at Kaiser Physical Therapy, you will be tasked with a wide array of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Designing and overseeing individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function.
• Mentoring and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective delivery of patient care.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients’ physical capabilities using diagnostic tests to inform your treatment strategies.
• Assessing the home environment of clients and providing recommendations for modifications that will foster independence and enhance rehabilitation.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and treatments, including manual therapy techniques, to assist clients in achieving their functional goals.
• Managing the clinical documentation process, ensuring accurate records of evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Engaging with multi-disciplinary teams during case conferences to evaluate and adapt total treatment plans for clients.
• Instructing clients and their families on the effective use of physical therapy devices and self-care strategies.
• Continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress and communicating updates to the interdisciplinary care team.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of clients ranging from those recovering from surgeries to individuals with chronic pain or mobility limitations. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, followed by relevant experience in clinical settings.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
• A positive team-oriented attitude and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in acute care or home care environments.
• Experience using electronic health record systems for comprehensive patient documentation.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and education in physical therapy practices.

Kaiser Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we provide extensive benefits that include:
