Job description

OBJECTIVE
This temporary position will support the HRIS Administrator by processing and managing employee transactions within the HR system, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of forms, data entry, and electronic employment records.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, distributing information to Human Resources and Payroll staff, and preparing regular reports summarizing employee activity such as new hires, transfers, promotions, and separations. This position will also assist with payroll processing activities as needed, helping ensure timely and accurate payroll operations.
In addition, this position may assist with special projects and provide general administrative and technical support to the Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with HR systems and data, while supporting day-to-day clerical and software-related needs across the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Associate's degree in business, office administration, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of one to three years of administrative or office support experience
  • Experience in a human resources or payroll environment preferred
  • Experience working with HRIS and/or payroll systems strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to work with data in Excel required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and recordkeeping
  • Basic mathematical aptitude and ability to work with reports and data
  • Effective organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Keyboarding skills with accuracy and efficiency
