We are currently seeking a Remote Database Administrator - Oracle to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Role Overview
We are seeking an Intermediate-Level Oracle DBA responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, performance, and security of Oracle database environments supporting critical healthcare workloads.
Key Responsibilities• Manage and administer Oracle database environments across development, test, and production
• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and failover strategies to ensure business continuity
• Provide logical and physical database administration support including storage and structure management
• Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity
• Perform SQL tuning, indexing, and performance optimization
• Provide L2/L3 production support including incident, problem, and change management
• Troubleshoot database and system-level issues and coordinate with vendors as needed
• Implement database security, user access controls, and auditing
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
• Collaborate with data engineering, application, and infrastructure teams
• Support data integration, migration, and modernization initiatives
Required Qualifications• 6+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with strong Oracle experience
• 6+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL skills with performance tuning expertise
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or newer
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
• 3+ years of experience with RMAN backup and recovery
Preferred Qualifications• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with Oracle Cloud, Azure, or AWS environments
• Exposure to data modernization or migration programs
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage
• Healthcare industry experience

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $93,816 - $162,875 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
