Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client seeking stress relief and emotional support.
  • Conduct initial consultations and ongoing assessments to identify clients' challenges, strengths, and personal goals, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
  • Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress management.
  • Lead group workshops where you will facilitate discussions and exercises focused on mindfulness, stress management, and building resilience in participants.
  • Integrate mindfulness-based techniques into individual therapy sessions, ensuring the approach aligns with each client’s specific mental health requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a cohesive treatment plan that incorporates mindfulness as a core therapeutic approach.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and interventions in compliance with organizational policies and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon is mandatory.
