SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. (SBG), a DSS, Inc. company, offers Systems Engineering, Enterprise Modernization, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and IT Governance innovation to Federal and commercial clients nationwide. We are looking for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer (Zero Trust Architecture) to join our team. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard working with the ability to excel in a challenging, fast-paced government contractor environment. The position location is remote.

Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer with a strong foundation in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support cutting-edge satellite communication programs for the U.S. Space Force. In this role, you will apply modern engineering methods to develop and maintain technical baselines, bridge requirement gaps across system and component levels, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to Government and contractor stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven systems engineering professional to contribute to high-priority national security programs while growing their expertise in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

The Enterprise Requirements and Integration Engineer will:

MBSE & Technical Baseline Development

  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools to support the development and maintenance of technical baselines

  • Analyze system requirements that define and govern the technical baseline, including verification activities

  • Review proposed changes to the technical baseline, assessing impacts to enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder integration concerns

Requirements & Integration Management

  • Collaborate with Government and contractor personnel to identify and close gaps in the flow of customer requirements down through system and component levels

  • Lead and support Government/Contractor Working Group meetings, including developing briefings, facilitating technical discussions, and authoring meeting minutes

  • Address and resolve requirement gaps, integration issues, risks, and action items across program stakeholders

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify and support management of risks, issues, and interdependencies; proactively surface schedule disconnects and conflicts

  • Develop targeted action plans for issue resolution and assist the Government in executing selected solutions

Advisory & Documentation Support

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), preparing and delivering technical briefings to U.S. Space Force management and key stakeholders

  • Facilitate program document reviews by performing technical assessments, providing comments, compiling review team inputs, and coordinating adjudication with contractor teams

  • Clearly articulate ideas, recommendations, and options to customers, senior leaders, and diverse stakeholders

Security and Privacy Duties and Responsibilities:

Individuals working for SBG Technology Solutions, Inc, a DSS, Inc. will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with MBSE principles and tools supporting requirements development and traceability

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize competing demands

  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral/written communication, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations, and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with MILSATCOM programs (e.g., AEHF, EPS, WGS, FAB-T terminals)

  • Experience collaborating with military personnel or DoD civilian clients

  • Familiarity with ground and airborne systems, including terminals and networks

  • INCOSE Systems Engineering certification (ESEP or CSEP)

  • MBSE certification (OCSMP)

  • Agile Development certification

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence

  • Top Secret Clearance

Education: 

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Network & Telecommunications

Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Network & Telecommunications
