Job description

Position Title: Raw Ingredient Sales Representative
About the Role: This role is for a motivated sales professional in a high-level individual contributor position, selling raw nutritional ingredients to contract manufacturers in the supplement and food and beverage sectors. The successful candidate will engage with clients, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Challenges may include generating revenue quickly and transitioning existing accounts. A self-directed approach with a hunter mentality will be essential for success in this fast-paced environment. Candidates with a strong background in raw ingredients sales will find this position rewarding and impactful.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 / Year DOE
Raw Ingredient Sales Representative Responsibilities:
  • Sell raw ingredients to contract manufacturers
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, and closing
  • Expand and maintain a book of business
  • Build and sustain relationships with existing and new clients
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including operations and accounting
  • Submit orders and track deals using internal systems
  • Communicate order status and updates to customers

Raw Ingredient Sales Representative Requirements:
  • Raw ingredients sales experience in supplements or food and beverage
  • Demonstrated annual sales performance of $3M or more
  • Existing book of business and client relationships
  • Ability to generate purchase orders within the first 2-3 months
  • Self-directed, hunter mentality
  • U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship)
  • Experience selling into contract manufacturers is preferred
  • Existing relationships in the industry are preferred
