Job SummaryThis position is responsible for driving HealthSpring's Local Broker Strategy as well as managing a team of sales personnel handling new Individual Medicare Advantage and Part D sales virtually through Local Broker, Downline Agency and smaller FMO Partners. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for implementing new sales goals for the Virtual Broker Management team on a quarterly basis, and ensuring that the Virtual Broker Management team, in coordination with the Local Broker team, achieves new sales goals each quarter. In addition, the Sr. Manager will act as a conduit between the national and local broker teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This individual will also be responsible for helping to ensure that HealthSpring maintains a best-in-class broker experience at all levels of the hierarchy. Key to success in the role will be establishing a positive and productive working relationship with Local & Regional sales leaders, as well as various matrix partners across the company including Sales Effectiveness, Sales Enablement, Sales Integrity, and Sales Operations. Ability and willingness to travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thorough knowledge of managed care products, processes, and trends.
  • People management, leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Analytical and system skills to develop and analyze reports and prepare reports/presentations for leadership.
  • Verbal and written communications skills to include negotiation, presentations, building relationships internally and externally and business writing.
  • Skills to handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience addressing customer, broker and employee needs.
  • Experience building strong local broker, downline agency and Topline FMO relations.
  • Knowledge of industry and business intelligence.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to manage through change.
  • Ability to problem-solve, identify and assist with removing roadblocks.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across local and national sales teams within the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years managed care sales, account management or servicing experience OR 10 years managed care sales, account management, or servicing experience.
  • Current, valid State Insurance License or obtain completely processed license within 90 days.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Work From Home: This is a fully remote position, available in all US only
