What is a Remote Coordinator Part Time?

A Remote Coordinator Part Time is a professional who manages tasks, schedules, or projects for a team or organization while working remotely and on a part-time basis. Their responsibilities often include coordinating communications, organizing meetings, tracking project progress, and ensuring team members stay aligned with goals. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work hours and the ability to work from anywhere. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills are essential for success in this position.

What are the typical communication tools and strategies used by part-time remote coordinators to stay connected with their teams?

Part-time remote coordinators typically rely on a combination of digital communication tools such as email, instant messaging platforms (like Slack or Microsoft Teams), and video conferencing software (such as Zoom or Google Meet) to maintain effective collaboration with their teams. They often establish regular check-ins or virtual stand-up meetings to stay updated on project progress and address any challenges. Clear documentation and shared project management tools (like Trello or Asana) are also essential for keeping everyone aligned, especially when working across different time zones or schedules.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Coordinator Part Time, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Coordinator Part Time, you need strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and experience with remote collaboration, often supported by a background in administration or project coordination. Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Trello, video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, and cloud-based file management systems is typically required. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills help you excel in virtual environments and manage tasks independently. These abilities ensure efficient coordination, smooth remote operations, and effective team collaboration despite working part time and off-site.

ABOUT US

Mental Health Practitioners is a woman-owned psychiatric practice serving patients across California, Arizona, and Oregon. Our team of 20+ providers is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate mental health care in a supportive, collaborative, and intimate environment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Marketing Coordinator to help us reach more people who need our care and keep our brand consistent across everything we put out into the world.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator who is energetic, resourceful, and genuinely excited about social media, content, and using technology to work smarter. This is a great fit for someone currently in school or early in their career who wants hands-on experience supporting a growing healthcare brand. In this role, you will help keep our website fresh, our social media active, and our marketing materials polished and on-brand. You will also support light operations and partnership outreach. The ideal person is curious, organized, comfortable learning new tools quickly, and confident using AI to draft, brainstorm, and streamline everyday work.

This is a part-time, remote position (20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling. Students are welcome and encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media & Content

  • Plan, create, schedule, and post content across MHPs social media channels (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Draft captions, graphics, and short-form content that reflect MHPs warm, plain-spoken, and destigmatizing voice
  • Use AI tools to brainstorm content ideas, draft copy, and speed up production while keeping a human, on-brand tone
  • Monitor comments and messages and flag anything that needs a clinical or leadership response
  • Track basic engagement metrics and share simple takeaways on what is working

Website & Digital

  • Update and maintain the WordPress website, including text, images, service pages, and blog posts
  • Keep web content accurate, current, and aligned with the MHP brand stylebook
  • Make light design and layout adjustments and troubleshoot small site issues as they come up
  • Help with basic SEO best practices and ensure links, forms, and pages are working correctly

Marketing Materials & Documents

  • Create and format documents, flyers, one-pagers, and simple marketing collateral
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials using MHPs colors, typography, and voice guidelines
  • Organize and maintain shared marketing files, templates, and assets

Partnership Outreach & Operations

  • Support outreach to potential referral sources, community partners, and collaborators
  • Draft and send professional outreach emails and help track responses and follow-ups
  • Provide light operational and administrative support to the marketing and leadership team
  • Help research tools, trends, and opportunities that could support MHPs growth

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms and software
  • Strong interest in and working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and others)
  • Comfortable and experienced using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to support content and everyday tasks
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to tone, grammar, and detail
  • Highly organized with good follow-through and the ability to manage multiple small projects
  • Able to work independently and stay accountable in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional, distraction-free home workspace
  • Must reside in California, Nevada, or Arizona

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress or another website content management system
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe, or Figma
  • Experience creating content for a brand, organization, club, or small business
  • Interest in healthcare, mental health, or mission-driven work
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and scheduling tools

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is:

  • Creative, curious, and genuinely excited about social media and digital content
  • A natural with technology who loves finding smarter, faster ways to get things done
  • Comfortable using AI as a thinking and drafting partner
  • Self-motivated and dependable, even with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Detail-oriented and protective of brand consistency and quality
  • A clear communicator who collaborates well across a remote team
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a growing healthcare environment

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • $25.00 per hour
  • Part-time schedule (20 hours per week)
  • Flexible scheduling within Pacific Time business hours
  • Fully remote work arrangement
  • Hands-on experience supporting a growing, mission-driven healthcare brand
