The start date is July 20th for this 4-month contract position.

Job Description:

  • Support the planning, development, and execution of marketing and communications activities for meeting and conference-related marketing initiatives, including managing exhibit booths and creating marketing materials
  • Develop and execute event and sponsorship plans to ensure successful delivery
  • Manage logistics for each event and sponsorship, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor relationships, shipping of materials and booths, and print production
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with event staff, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure events run smoothly
  • Communicate key logistics and expectations to staff and stakeholders across multiple concurrent events
  • Monitor and analyze event and sponsorship metrics to evaluate performance and effectiveness
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key sponsors, partners, and stakeholders
  • Maintain records of event and sponsorship activities, including budgets, contracts, and invoices
  • Support pre-event email communications and coordinate with marketing/communications team for brand consistency

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, English, or related field)
  • 4 years of experience in event planning or marketing/communications related to event execution
  • Proven experience managing tradeshows and concurrent event logistics in a large/enterprise corporate environment
  • Experience executing contracts, processing invoices, and owning attendee communications
  • Familiarity with project management or requisition/approval tools (e.g., Asana or similar)
  • Experience with event tracking software
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with difficult stakeholders and confidently advocate for area of expertise
  • Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the energy industry
  • Experience with Marketo or similar email marketing platforms
