In this role you will be supporting partners, customers and internal staff all around the world. You will be working with global class partners as we revolutionize the document delivery market. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installations of a new system or modification of an existing system. Install, guide and support enterprise software solutions. You will bring with you a high energy solution driven mentality along with extensive pre-sales experience working in a solutions and technology environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct software system testing and validation procedures.
  • Evaluate factors such as performance requirements, cost constraints, and need for availability, to determine hardware configuration.
  • Guide and perform installation, support diagnostics for customers and deployment of solutions.
  • Store, retrieve, and analyze data for analysis of software capabilities and requirements.
  • Advise customer about, perform analysis, and assist support on maintenance of software and system components.
  • Consult with customers and/or other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues such as software design and maintenance.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and update problem tracking system concerning project/problem specifications, activities, and status.
  • Demonstrate products and solutions to prospective customers.
  • Train or advise users to use new or modified software components.
  • Contributing to ideas for marketing, new products, business opportunities and system improvements.
  • Confer with project managers, customers and/or company appointed, to obtain or distribute information on specifications, limitations, and capabilities of our software products.
  • Consult with engineering, development, and management staff to evaluate software and system failures, develop specifications and performance requirements, and resolve customer problems.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
SKILLS:
  • Ability to build strong and productive working relationships with customers/clients, including the ability to gain and maintain client trust.
  • Strong leadership skills and confidence in presenting at all levels of management and technical staff members.
  • Working knowledge of common software applications and uses; including Operating Systems, MS Office Applications, Internet Browsers, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to learn new software applications as they appear in the market and stay current with technology.
  • Excellent computer application skills such as Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to plan your own activities to meet sales activity.
  • The ability to manage a multi-tasking environment. Manage across several time zones.
  • Excellent presentation skills are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, time management and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to clearly document business requirements and translate to technical solutions and specifications to document requirements for development and work with staff for solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time as required by business needs.
  • Knowledge of ECM Archive solutions (CMOD, Filenet, Mobius, EOS)
  • Knowledge of formatted print streams (AFP, Xerox, PDF, Postscript and PCL)
  • Scripting languages a plus (Python, REXX, VB)
  • Database knowledge a plus (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Programming Languages a plus (Java, .NET, C++)

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 10 plus years' experience in a similar position within Enterprise Software or Content Management marketplace
  • Operating Systems Expert to install on software on - Windows, Linux and ZO/S
  • Strong knowledge of Mainframe ZO/S and skills (JCL, TSO)
  • Scripting skills (REXX, Java, C Sharp, Phyton)
  • Strong level of knowledge with print streams
    • (AFP, Xerox, and PDF)
    • Post composition tools for transforms and enhancements.
  • A high level of professionalism, passion, ethics, confidence, and commitment.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office products)
  • System integration and system trouble diagnostics
  • Ability to travel 20%+
  • Excellent communication skills with both executive and technical audiences
  • Ability to clearly document business requirements and translate to technical solutions and specifications.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, computer application skills such as Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
