Maintenance Lead Technician, Night Shift
Location: Lebanon, IN
Employment Type: Full Time
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Lead Technician will join the night shift team, Monday through Friday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. You will oversee a small team, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the safe and timely completion of duties. You will also administer, configure, and support the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role offers an opportunity to take ownership and contribute to the efficiency of operations in a collaborative night shift environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Activities: Work with supervisors to identify and communicate priorities, direct the work of maintenance personnel, plan, schedule, assign, and review work. Supervise service contractors and oversee plant activities.
Support the Team: Provide guidance and instructions to mechanics, ensuring all work follows Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and safety procedures. Provide break or vacation relief as needed. Lead special projects assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and determine root causes of equipment issues using computers or PLC programs. Collaborate with other mechanics to diagnose problems and determine corrective actions.
Administrative Tasks: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports documenting maintenance activities and work performed. Assist in maintaining departmental records and the maintenance office.
Qualifications:
Experience: Background in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing, plant, or warehouse environment. Skilled in mechanical tools, welding, grinding, cutting, electrical circuits, and PLC calibration. Able to perform measurements and basic calculations.
Drive: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, highly organized, with a continuous learning mindset.
Leadership: Experience leading or supervising a team, assigning tasks, demonstrating work, and ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met. Ability to manage conflict and foster collaboration.
Interpersonal Skills: Professional verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow and give directions, explain processes, and build strong working relationships. Appreciates diverse experiences and perspectives.

On-site skills assessment, interview with the Hiring Manager and HR, and plant tour.
This is a remote position.
