Microsoft 365 Global Administrator

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Global Administrator to own and manage our Microsoft 365 tenant in a multinational enterprise environment. This role includes global responsibility for identity, security, collaboration services, and the enablement and governance of Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365.

You will play a key role in ensuring a secure, compliant, and modern digital workplace while driving the adoption of AI-powered productivity tools across the organization.

Your tasks:

  • Act as Global Administrator for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID and administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and M365 Apps
  • Manage tenant-wide configuration, updates, service health, and lifecycle as well as oversee global licensing and service enablement
  • Administer Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, including licensing and tenant settings, ensuring compliance with data protection
  • Act as escalation point for complex or global issues
  • Work with regional IT teams, business stakeholders, and Microsoft support/partners

Our requirements:

  • A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or a similar course of study, IT specialists with appropriate professional experience in the field of O365 may also be addressed
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a large or global environment, proven experience as a tenant-level or Global Administrator
  • Hands-on experience in building and operating Microsoft O365 solutions, especially Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Copilot and PowerShell
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills as well as reliability and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial, with German considered an advantage
