8480 ISS Applications ServicesThe User Access Administrator is responsible for managing the lifecycle of user accounts across the hospital's IT applications. This includes provisioning, suspending, and terminating accounts, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and keeping processes timely and consistent. The role also supports documentation, process improvements, and collaboration across Information Systems Services (ISS) teams to improve efficiency and security.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

Required:

One or more years of experience in IT account administration, access management, or helpdesk support.

Experience with Jira or other IT service management tools.

Preferred: Experience with Active Directory or other identity/access management platforms.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Strong technical writing skills for creating knowledge base documentation.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet timeliness standards.

Knowledge of HIPAA and IT security best practices.

Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (e.g., EHR, HRIS, financial systems).

Process improvement or ITIL experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential

Provisions, suspends, and terminates user accounts across multiple clinical, financial, and operational applications in a timely manner.

Tracks and manages account requests and tasks through Jira.

Develops and maintains knowledge base articles and step-by-step guides so that other IT staff can perform account tasks during absences.

Performs regular user account audits to ensure access is appropriate and compliant with hospital policies, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.

Collaborates with HR, Security, and other ISS teams to ensure smooth onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.

Identifies, recommends, and implements process improvements to streamline user access workflows.

Documents account activity and maintain audit-ready logs.

Responds to and troubleshoots account-related issues escalated from IT support teams.


Additional
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.


Performs other duties as assigned.
