Job description

Title: Supplier Quality (SQ) Coordinator
Reports To: SQ Manager
Location: Spring, TX
Role:
Hawk Technical Services, a fast-growing company specializing in the provision of technical staffing and QA/QC services to the oil and gas industry has an immediate opening for an experienced technical inspection coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing inspection assignments for Hawk clients including local/non-local, domestic/foreign, and vendor shops/process plants/construction sites. Responsible for supporting Company's Supplier Quality (SQ) operations by providing technical oversight in some or all of the following areas: o Client interface to develop inspection scope; o Interfacing with field-based Inspectors; o Technical report review; o Project coordination; o Commercial tasks including budget monitoring, time and expense approvals, invoice review and approval, etc.; o ITP development and assignment instructions; o Vetting potential new Inspectors, Expeditors, Auditors; o Conducting competency assessments; o Conducting field audits; o Problem and/or complaint investigation; o QMS development and oversight; o Maintaining international codes and standards o Inspector mentoring and development
Education
Four-year university degree in engineering or a related field preferred, but not mandatory. Will accept experience in lieu of formal education.
Experience
5+ years of proven inspection experience across a wide range of equipment types and commodities.
