Job description

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a remote Energy Analyst to coordinate responses to requests and delivery of work products to our clients. This is a remote opportunity and candidates can reside anywhere within the U.S.

The Energy Analyst will be the project manager of client engagements, coordinating client reporting requests and delivery of work products to clients. The work will include the analysis of the vendor expenses incurred in providing the service and meeting performance metrics to ensure delivery on time and on budget.

What You'll Do
  • Manage the relationship with all areas of clients who may require or request energy data
  • Provide custom reports, upon request
  • Prepare weekly status reports with energy overviews
  • Maintain and manage the ENERGY STAR information to the Portfolio Manager every month and to the other legislative districts as required
  • Review portal and resolve exceptions, maintain information, and provide information on anomalies to appropriate people
  • Maintain Smartsheet with copies of all reports provided, overview of reports with due dates, meeting information, and all relevant data including client requests and requirements
  • Meet with all clients via Teams, or other online meeting options using a camera, regularly to review status, reports, and requirements

What You Bring
  • Have 2 years of experience working with or for a bill payment processing company and/or accounting background with analytical and reporting is preferred.
  • Have an Associate's Degree in engineering, business, accounting or related disciplines preferredExperience working with ENERGY STAR
  • Have a basic understanding of and familiarity with energy principles
  • Have an understanding of the processes utilized in managing utility bill auditing, evaluation, reporting, and payment
  • Are proficient in the use, creation, and manipulation of databases, spreadsheets, and charting tools.
  • Are proficient in presentation tools, such as PowerPoint.
  • Have a cognitive ability to grasp new computer tools, such as proprietary vendor reporting tools.
  • Have excellent verbal and written presentation skills
