Overview / Purpose of the position

The internal and supplier assurance (ISA) business partners with clients to build trust within their organisations and across their value chains. ISA has undergone tremendous growth, and this strategic role will support this growth across the EMEA region by shaping our approach to delivering client solutions, enabling us to add greater value to our clients and enhance our client centricity, whilst harmonising with global and other regional efforts.

The Head of Operations will build theEMEAoperational framework forthisbusiness line,integrating it seamlessly intothe company'sestablishedprocesses while ensuring itoperateswith commercial discipline, efficiency, and scalability, all whilst ensuring alignment with the global ISA community to drive standardisation.

Thisrole requires a leader who cancreate a tightly integrated delivery engine that ensures quality, efficiency, margin control, and regulatory readiness,without duplicatingthecompany'sinfrastructure.The successful candidate will combine strong operational leadership with a solid understanding of professional services,preferably within audit or advisory environments.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Process: This role will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define the client journey for ISA throughout EMEA whilst working closely with global teams to ensure alignment.

This will result in a process that:

  • Is clearer, better understood, and aligned and embedded across the globe.
  • Is more efficient and effective in servicing both EMEA and global client contracts.
  • Is considerate and aligned to the future direction and growth of the ISA business.
  • incorporates governance and transparency at its core.
  • Effectively leverages existing best practices
  • Operational delivery: This role will be responsible for working with direct reports and other regional leaders to mobilise our teams to deploy a client-centric solution across our clients. They will maintain within the region the competencies and roles required to support the operational delivery of the ISA programs, and collaborate with the respective regions to develop these competencies more widely to support EMEA programs.

This will result in:

  • A clear framework of the competencies required when delivering an ISA program.
  • Greater understanding of and alignment with the competencies adopted across the regions.
  • Increased capacity and capability to support the ISA programs.
  • Improved program performance and impact on the client organisation
  • The sales teams feel more supported when engaging with or building client proposals, and confident in our ability and expertise to deliver the solution.
  • Global Hub: This role will be responsible for aligning EMEA operations with the global Hub

This will result in greater clarity in the roles and responsibilities of the hub

  • Governance: This role will work collaboratively with the respective compliance teams to ensure ISA controls and processes are appropriate, proportionate to the risk, embedded and effective.

This will result in:

  • Risk mitigation to a reasonable level
  • The forming and maintaining of strong external relationships with internal compliance teams
  • The forming and maintaining of strong external relationships with associations and regulators, keeping abreast of changes, and ensuring they are translated into our ways of working
  • Performance:
  • This role will be responsible for delivering ISA revenue and growth across EMEA, whilst working with the global team to drive global growth and revenue. This will result in
  • Deeper understanding of ISA performance at a client and program level
  • An established cadence of performance monitoring
  • Greater focus and emphasis on improving business performance.
  • More insights to feed into business forecast and strategic resource planning.

Travel requirements: EMEA travel as required to support business and client activity.
