This role operates in a remote setting, providing flexibility for our LCSWs while ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and mental health professionals, to provide holistic care that addresses both emotional and academic needs.

As an LCSW at Mental Fitness Masters Hub, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students and developing comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while adapting your approaches to meet the specific preferences of your clients.
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all interactions.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team—including educators, psychologists, and psychiatrists—to provide integrated care that supports both mental health and student success.
• Participating in case consultations and peer review meetings to improve the quality of care within the team and grow through shared insights.
• Educating and empowering families and students with knowledge about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to support their journeys toward wellness.
• Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health research and integrating new knowledge into clinical practice to enhance treatment outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents in a school setting, addressing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can express themselves and receive the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid foundation in clinical practice.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in Virginia, demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and ethical practice.
• At least three years of experience in a clinical setting, specializing in psychotherapy services, with a track record of successfully helping clients achieve their health goals.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based interventions and solution-focused techniques, which will empower you to drive meaningful change in your clients' lives.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build trust and rapport with clients, families, and team members effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills that enable you to handle complex clinical situations with confidence and efficiency.

While the minimum requirement is three years of clinical experience, candidates with additional expertise in crisis intervention, school-based mental health services, or experience working with high-risk populations will be highly valued. Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth platforms for therapy is also advantageous.
