Job description

Development Manager (Fundraising Donor Engagement)
Remote (U.S. based)
Salary Range $48,000 – $53,000 + Benefits
About the Role
We’re seeking a Development Manager to own day-to-day fundraising execution in a growing nonprofit focused on nutrition education, food security, and micro-economic development. This role reports to the Executive Director and works closely with leadership and the Board.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute annual fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and events
• Build and manage a portfolio of individual donors (focus on $1K+ gifts)
• Research, write, and manage grant proposals and reporting
• Maintain accurate donor data and CRM records
• Support donor stewardship, planned giving, and endowment efforts
• Track KPIs and prepare monthly fundraising reports
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of fundraising experience (nonprofit preferred)
• Strong writing skills (donor comms grants)
• Experience with CRM/donor databases
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Spanish or Central America experience is a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally
