Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and experienced AP Economics tutor to join our team on a part-time basis. If you're passionate about education, enjoy working with motivated students, and value a well-run, supportive tutoring environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities: 
  • Deliver engaging one-on-one online tutoring sessions in AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics
  • Assess current content knowledge and identify gaps relative to the AP Economics course framework
  • Develop and manage a structured, week-by-week study plan leading up to the AP exam
  • Guide students through key concepts such as supply and demand, fiscal policy, monetary policy, market structures, and GDP
  • Prepare students for the AP Economics exam through practice tests, free-response coaching, and test-taking strategies
  • Track progress and adjust the study plan as needed to maximize exam readiness
  • Stay current with AP exam updates and College Board guidelines
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 3 years of tutoring/teaching experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university (graduate degrees preferred)
  • Availability after 3:00PM on weekdays and/or flexible on weekends
  • Patient, understanding, and reliable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience developing study plans tailored to a student's academic profile
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional remote work environment
  • Comfortable using online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital whiteboards
  • Reliable transportation (for in person lessons only) and a minimum 1-year commitment
