Overview

Otter Products is recruiting for a Manager of eCommerce Analytics to join our eCommerce team! This position can be based at our Fort Collins, CO headquarters, working a hybrid schedule, or fully remote in the U.S.

The Manager, eCommerce Analytics is responsible for managing work efforts required to execute the enterprise eCommerce analytics vision, strategy, and roadmap. This role leads a team of analytics professionals while partnering closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, Technology, and Executive Leadership to drive profitable growth across Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels.

The Manager will oversee digital measurement frameworks, forecasting, predictive analytics, customer insights, digital experimentation, attribution modeling, and enterprise reporting for eCommerce channels. This leader is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable business strategies, enabling data-driven decision-making that optimizes customer acquisition, conversion, retention, customer lifetime value (LTV), and overall digital performance.

Success in this role requires advanced knowledge and skills in web analytics strategy and implementation, comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing and eCommerce best practices, experience developing predictive models and forecasting methodologies, and a demonstrated track record of leading high-performing analytics teams. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with excellent technical skills and advanced proficiency at developing data-driven recommendations to drive business decisions.   • Lead the execution of the company's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) eCommerce analytics strategy, aligning measurement capabilities, customer insights, and performance analytics with business growth, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team, establishing priorities, driving professional growth, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with eCommerce leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations that influence digital investments, pricing, promotions, merchandising, customer experience, and business planning decisions.
  • Drive advanced analytics initiatives including customer segmentation, cohort analysis, customer lifetime value (LTV) modeling, forecasting, predictive analytics, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution, and incrementality measurement to optimize business performance.
  • Oversee the measurement and optimization of the end-to-end customer journey, including website performance, digital marketing effectiveness, conversion funnel performance, personalization initiatives, customer retention programs, and digital experimentation efforts.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide visibility into eCommerce performance, customer behavior, and marketing effectiveness across channels.
  • Provide strategic oversight for web analytics platforms, tag management systems, data governance processes, measurement architecture, and privacy compliance to ensure accurate, scalable, and reliable data collection and reporting.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive insights to continuously enhance analytics capabilities, improve decision-making, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in web analytics, with a strong emphasis on analytics strategy development and implementation within eCommerce or digital environments.
  • Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.
  • Highly advanced skills in managing profiles, integrating third-party tags and creating tagging strategy required.
  • Extensive skills in creating and delivering regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards using tools like Microsoft Excel, Looker Studio, and Power BI required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading analytics teams and developing talent in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing analytics insights to support senior leadership and drive organizational change.
