Document Control Specialist

The Document Control Specialist provides administrative support to the Regent University Enrollment Management team and department. Staff are responsible for analyzing, interpreting and reviewing all submitted academic recruit and admissions materials and updates to student records. All University document control for the admissions, financial aid and military functions also funnel through this role. This position understands University policies, procedures, and accreditation regulations as relating to accurate data management.

Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA. (Qualified candidates may be considered for remote work depending on location.)

Salary: $30,360 - $35,360 annually

Essential duties:

  • Perform document intake procedures including, but not limited to, scanning, indexing, uploading supplemental items received via email or physical mail.
  • Review and certify documentation received for accuracy and authenticity, applying and interpreting documentation policies in a variety of procedural situations.
  • Download electronic transcripts and test scores from electronic exchange websites.
  • Periodically conduct quality control checks on data and document imaging process.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of work processes, including learning and integrating new technology; focusing attention and efforts on detailed analysis, accuracy, and speed; and promoting a teamwork environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Working knowledge of databases (SCT's Banner Student Management System experience preferred)
