Job description

Healthcare Documentation Specialist (Document Control Coordinator)ย

US โ€“ Remote (Central or Eastern time zone)ย

RLDatix is on a mission to transform care delivery worldwide, ensuring every patient receives the safest, highest-quality care. Through our innovative Healthcare Operations Platform, we're connecting data to unlock trusted insights that enable improved decision-making and help deliver safer healthcare for allย

Job Descriptionย

RLDatix (RLD) is on a mission to help raise the standard of careโ€ฆeverywhere. Trusted by over 10,000 healthcare organizations around the world, our solutions help improve health and care. Our applications ensure that patients receive the best and safest care while supporting the providers who deliver it.Joining TeamRLD means being part of a global effort of over 2,000 team members in making a difference in healthcareโ€ฆevery day.ย

We're searching for a US-based Healthcare Documentation Specialist to join our OneSOURCE team, so that we can support sterile processing teams at hospitals and major government clients โ€” including the VA, Department of Health, Navy, and Air Force โ€” with accurate, current manufacturer documentation. The Healthcare Documentation Specialist will research manufacturers, obtain Instructions for Use (IFUs) and sterilization/maintenance documentation, and maintain the OneSOURCE library with precision โ€” helping reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infections and supporting safe instrument processing across healthcare facilities.ย

How You'll Spend Your Timeย

  • Research manufacturers and their websites to locate Instructions for Use (IFUs), sterilization protocols, and maintenance documentation โ€” adding accurate information to the OneSOURCE library to support sterile processing teamsย

  • Contact manufacturers by phone and email to request, clarify, and obtain required documentation โ€” persistently and professionally navigating outreach conversations until the right information is securedย

  • Review technical healthcare documentation carefully and enter or maintain information with a high degree of precision to safeguard patient safety and reduce infection riskย

  • Respond to standard document inquiries from manufacturers, distributors, and healthcare facilities โ€” escalating complex client questions to managers or the relevant relationship-management teamย

  • Participate in routine quality reviews, apply feedback from senior team members, and suggest simple workflow improvements in order to enhance library accuracy and service qualityย

What Kind of Things We're Most Interested in You Havingย

  • A healthcare-profession background โ€” ideally as a dental hygienist, dental assistant, biomedical technician, surgical technician, sterile processing technician, endoscopy or clinical-support professional, or comparable hands-on clinical roleย

  • In-depth familiarity with (or ability to quickly become fluent in) medical-device and sterilization terminology, including IFUs, instrument reprocessing, and manufacturer documentationย

  • Proven success in roles requiring exceptional attention to detail where an error could create downstream patient-safety or operational riskย

  • Comfort calling and emailing manufacturers, vendors, or external parties persistently to obtain technical documentation or resolve issues (e.g., repair coordination, insurance follow-up, vendor outreach)ย

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with a dedicated workspace, aligned to Central or Eastern time-zone working hours (team may begin as early as 6:30 a.m. Central)ย

  • Sincere interest in supporting sterile processing, patient safety, and healthcare operations from a lower-exposure, remote settingย

  • A knack for working collaboratively with a small, mission-focused team while operating with self-direction day-to-dayย

Microsoft/PC proficiency, prior remote-work experience, and exposure to ISO 9001 are helpful but trainable โ€” not required.ย

By enabling flexibility in how we work and prioritizing employee wellness, we empower our team to do and be their best. Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, 401K, paid time off, and paid holidays.RLDatix is an equal opportunity employer, and our employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, national origin, disability, handicap, marital status or any other status or condition protected by Federal and/or State laws.As part of RLDatix's commitment to the inclusion of all qualified individuals, we ensure that persons with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation in the job application and interview process.
