Spectrum Resource Group (SRG) is an integrated vegetation management and environmental services provider supporting the forestry, energy, mining, infrastructure, and utility sectors across Canada. Our Environmental Services Group delivers biophysical assessments, environmental monitoring, permitting, and compliance services across diverse environments.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Intermediate Environmental Specialist to support field-based projects across Western Canada. This role combines technical fieldwork, environmental monitoring, data interpretation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Construction environmental monitoring and compliance inspections

Wetland delineations and biophysical assessments

Aquatic habitat and wildlife surveys

Soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling

Implementation of EMPs, erosion and sediment control, and spill response

Technical report writing and regulatory documentation

Coordination with clients, contractors, and regulators

Qualifications

3-6 years of environmental experience

Degree or diploma in environmental or related field

Professional designation preferred (P.Biol, R.P.Bio, P.Ag, AScT)

Experience in mining, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects
