Empath Behavioral Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality mental health care. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that align with client needs and goals, including creating pre-crisis and crisis plans.
• Document all client interactions and treatment interventions promptly and accurately to comply with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess client progress and treatment efficacy, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold high standards of care and maintain compliance within the mental health services field.
• Serve as a liaison among clients, families, relevant service systems, state agencies, and local community partners to promote comprehensive support networks.
• Facilitate open and effective communication with all stakeholders to align practices with organizational goals and promote community integration.
• Engage with external organizations and agencies to cultivate partnerships that enhance service delivery and identify potential funding opportunities.
• Invest in your professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and guidance sessions to deepen expertise and maintain licensure requirements.
• Embrace the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all interactions and advocate for the well-being of clients and the community.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring a flexible approach to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

You will work with a diverse patient population, addressing various mental health concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions related to substance use and developmental disabilities. • A Master’s Degree in the mental health field is required for this position.
• An independent LPCC license in California is mandatory to practice in this role.

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment planning.
• Previous experience serving client populations with developmental disabilities or substance use disorders.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, along with a generous sign-on bonus of $3,000.
