Position Overview

Empath Behavioral Services is actively seeking a dedicated Telehealth Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team in Richmond, California. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, medication treatment plans, and risk assessments.
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely, adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools based on clinical team recommendations to ensure effective treatment delivery.
  • Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that cater to individual client's needs.
  • Engage in all applicable licensing and accreditation processes to maintain compliance and high service standards.
  • Serve as an essential liaison between clients, state agencies, and community partners to optimize care and service delivery.
  • Maintain open lines of communication to meet contractual standards and support the mission of Empath Behavioral Services within the community.
  • Create and nurture relationships with various local, state, and private agencies to promote our programs and secure potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Pursue professional development activities including attending conferences, conducting workshops, and participating in statewide committees relating to mental health.
  • Advocate for and embody the agency's mission, values, and principles in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Clinic Director to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve at Empath Behavioral Services come from diverse backgrounds and have varied mental health needs. They may require assistance with emotional health challenges, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant mental health discipline is required.
  • Possession of a valid and Independent LPCC License in the state of California.
