Centerpointe Psychiatry Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide exceptional care in a remote setting. This position is primarily remote, allowing you to provide vital mental health services from the comfort of your own home while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. You will collaborate within a supportive outpatient team structure, engaging with colleagues and supervisors through regular coordination meetings and case consultations to ensure optimal care for our patients.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Providing individual and family therapy sessions, employing techniques that are tailored to the unique circumstances and challenges faced by each client.
• Completing essential documentation including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within specified timeframes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Developing comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans to support patients in achieving stability and maintaining their mental health.
• Creating discharge plans that guide patients towards continued success beyond therapy.
• Adhering to all relevant federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures, to maintain the highest standards in mental health care.
• Engaging in continuous learning opportunities to grow your professional competence and skills through training and education.
• Actively participating in case consultations and internal meetings to keep abreast of best practices and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Completing all necessary licensure and mandatory training to sustain credentials and adhere to industry standards.

Your role will encompass working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. This diversity shapes our therapeutic approach, emphasizing respect, inclusion, and tailored interventions that recognize the unique challenges faced by each patient.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.
• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the state of California, such as LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient settings or those who have worked with diverse populations are favored. Familiarity with remote counseling platforms and telehealth best practices is also advantageous.
