Job description

Overview

The Strategic Pricing, Director  is a member of the Corporate Development and Strategy team at Cotiviti. This person will be responsible for leading Cotiviti's pricing strategy, including maintaining the company's existing pricing and creating pricing models for new solutions. This person will collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization to align on priorities and communicate progress and outcomes. 

Responsibilities
  • Systematically maintain pricing content and tools, including company price book, pricing contract terms and pricing market insights. 
  • Manage process of ongoing pricing updates across company portfolio based on latest market and competitive shifts. 
  • Support GTM and Pricing Execution team in complex and non-standard deal pricing. 
  • Identify pricing opportunities to support upsell/cross-sell initiatives and other key growth initiatives. 
  • Define KPIs and dashboards to track pricing effectiveness, discount levels, and impact on business performance. 
  • Analyze new sales and renewals trends to understand buyer price sensitivity, buying factors and pricing execution including win/loss analysis, discount trends, etc.  
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, GTM, and BU to inform new product pricing requirements, and to ensure methodical roll-out of new pricing models.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Finance to ensure pricing strategies are executable, scalable, and aligned with go-to-market plans.
  • Support the creation of executive communications related to strategy and strategic pricing.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.  
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or related degree desired. 
  • 8+ years total experience, including experience in Pricing, including experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, FP&A, In-House Corporate Strategy and/or Pricing; or 6+ years' experience with a master's degree.  
  • Exceptional presentation skills with ability to synthesize data and concepts to support executive level communications. 
  • Healthcare experience preferred, particularly in the payor environment. 
  • Strong people-influence skills, especially in a matrixed organization. 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly within a new domain. 
  • MBA, MPH, or MHA welcomed, but not required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: 

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. 
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. 
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.  
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance. 
Base compensation ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
