Job description

Remote Data Entry Operator (Insurance)

Were hiring for temporary Data Entry and Insurance Verification positions for our private-sector school located immunization program, Health Hero Florida. As a Data Entry and Insurance Verification employee for Health Hero Florida, you will be responsible for navigating Medicaid, ClaimMD, and other apps to find and verify eligibility for Floridas health insurances. This position will begin on September 13, 2022 and end between the end of November to mid-December. Data Entry and Insurance Verification Job Requirements:

  • 1 year of data entry and billing experience
  • Ability to work a full-time 40-hour work week. Varied shifts available.
  • Prior experience with private health insurance preferred, including Medicaid and MCO insurance
  • Experience in eligibility verification in insurance portals including Medicaid and ClaimMD is preferred
  • Understanding of how to determine eligibility with different factors
  • Experience with HIPAA compliance
  • Desire and ability to adhere to Health Heros core values and high standard of customer service every day
  • Located in Jacksonville, FL, area (but able to work from home)
  • Must have a secure and reliable internet connection (at least 25mbps)
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and reference check before starting
