Pay Salary:ย $180,000-$275,000, bonus eligible.ย 



Position Summary:ย This position is responsible for the overall management of the Bankโ€™s loan portfolio, loan approval system, loan documentation and credit administration functions. Will exercise appropriate credit risk management and ensure all lending and credit administration activities are compliant and within defined Board-approved risk tolerance expectations. Participate in the establishment of the Companyโ€™s strategic plan and its implementation with all other members of the Executive Team with the responsibility of managing the Bankโ€™s credit function.



Responsibilities:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Provides direct supervision and leadership for Credit Manager, Special Asset Manager, Credit Analysts, Loan Processors and Loan Administrative Assistants.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Responsible for overall asset quality of the Company as a fundamental driver of the safety and soundness of the institution.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Responsible for establishing credit risk philosophy and appropriate credit risk monitoring & mitigation systems.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Establishes lending policies, underwriting standards, and internal lending controls in alignment with evolving industry practices.ย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Supervise all lending operations to guarantee adherence to company policies and compliance with regulatory standards, helping uphold the Company's positive reputation with regulatory bodies.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Oversee all company credit policies.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Manages loan risk ratings and concentration levels.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Maintains credit authority and loan approval structure for effective risk management.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Tracks lending trends and regulatory changes, updates of staff and policies as needed.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Analyzes economic, market, and industry trends regarding new products, services, and policies, and recommends appropriate Company response.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Partners with the President in driving consistent performance and credit culture expectations within Companyโ€™s defined market area.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Holds routine meetings with commercial lenders to ensure that credit administration and policy standards are maintained and adapted as necessary to support the Company's continued expansion.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Participates in all Strategic Planning activities for the Company and embraces ownership of appropriate strategic execution priorities as assigned.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Leads the Executive Loan Committee meetings and serves as a voting member on all credits over $150,000.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Serves as a member of the Companyโ€™s Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO); contributes to development of and adherence to appropriate loan pricing disciplines within construct of prudent ALCO guidelines.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Monitors and assist in developing enhanced credit training for all lenders.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Participates with lenders on customer and prospect calls, when appropriate.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Monitors document exception management by lenders.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Participates in the Companyโ€™s business development program on a selective basis.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Be actively engaged in strategic community involvement activities and serving as one of the Companyโ€™s leading ambassadors.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Lead as a culture champion contributing to a positive working environment through words and actions.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Responsible for ensuring internal and external customers receive outstanding service.

Requirements:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business or related, and will consider equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of.ย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย 10 years progressive management experience in a financial institution.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย 10 years experience in business and/or agricultural lending and leasing.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Knowledge of loan documentation in order to remain compliant with Federal regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Knowledge of the financial industry including knowledge of various products, policies, and procedures.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Knowledge of all phases of lending, including laws and regulations governing business (including SBA experience), agricultural and consumer lending.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Business financial analysis expertise

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Familiarity with state and federal banking laws

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Collections and work-out experience

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Strong leadership skills
