Overview

  • Can be fully remote in the Eastern/Central time zone
  • No new business requirements
  • Support the senior partner with UHNW clients ( 25mmโ€“100mm+ ) and 1.5bb++ book of business
  • Ability to act as Senior Advisor/COO to run all the day-to-day business for the senior partner, allowing him to focus on new business development and top-level client issues

This role partners closely with a Senior Partner to lead relationships with UHNW individuals and families, delivering high-touch, comprehensive wealth management and family office services. The position requires deep technical expertise across planning and investments, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to lead and mentor team members while overseeing complex client engagements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a Senior Partner to lead and manage relationships with primarily UHNW clients and families, providing comprehensive wealth management and family office services.
  • Conduct complex analysis and research related to financial, estate, income tax, insurance, and investment planning.
  • Develop and present integrated wealth management solutions for existing and prospective clients.
  • Design, recommend, and assist in the implementation of sophisticated portfolio asset allocation and investment strategies, including significant exposure to private and alternative investments.
  • Clearly communicate the full range of the firmโ€™s services and capabilities to clients and prospective clients.
  • Coordinate closely with clientsโ€™ external advisory teams, including attorneys, accountants, insurance advisors, and other professionals.
  • Document client meetings, recommendations, and action plans in a clear, timely manner.
  • Oversee the implementation of agreed-upon recommendations to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and mentoring to junior team members to support their professional development and advisory capabilities.
  • Manage and support team members to ensure efficient delivery of client services.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of wealth management or other relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Advanced degrees or other professional designations preferred.
  • Deep interest in and understanding of ultra-high net worth investments, investment philosophy, and portfolio construction.
  • Strong knowledge of income, gift, and estate tax planning, insurance planning, advanced intergenerational wealth transfer strategies, and philanthropic planning.
  • Experience with business exit planning and familiarity with entrepreneur-owner-manager clients.
