Your role in our mission
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Build via CI/CD using GitHub to develop both composite and callable workflows.
  • Data environment management; data loads through migration of transformed data into data warehouses or other storage solutions usable throughout Essette application.
  • Manage third-party software integration, expertise in connecting and managing various external application integrations, integrating functionalities into application to support client requirements.
  • Designing scalable solutions.
  • Supporting existing systems and leading root cause analysis, identifying enhanced solutions.
  • Improving current and build enhanced environment security.
  • Administrating key services (GitHub, Azure DevOps etc.)
  • Designs and develops highly complex, integrated solutions to meet business requirements and enhance performance.
  • Manage python dependencies with poetry package manager, publish with `git+ssh`, and release with Github Releases via tags.
  • Analytics Support, automate infrastructure, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Performs and evaluates cost analyses and vendor comparisons for large scale projects to ensure cost-effective and efficient environment operations. Measures feasibility of various technical approaches and makes recommendation(s). Ensures adherence to model created and overall infrastructure guidelines.
  • Recommends moderately complex systems investment(s) to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and systems management/life cycle issues.
  • Provides escalated, highly complex technical support to customers by investigating and resolving systems-related matters of significance; provides support telephonically and/or electronically.
  • Plans, conducts and oversees the technical aspects of projects.
  • Applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of the complex system requirements and problems. Develops training tools and documentation; oversees implementation of same.
  • Reviews literature, patents and current practices to support business requirements and/or new industry technology. Prepares reports regarding new technology to communicate to appropriate personnel.
  • Provides technical consultation on current and proposed systems to on-prem and hosted clients.
  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

What we're looking for
  • 8+ years in DevOps, systems engineering, or software development, focusing on CI/CD and automation.
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Python, with experience in containerization and automation.
  • Experience in data environment management, including SSIS/SSMS, data transformation, migration, and process automation.
  • Skilled in managing application configurations, databases, JSON, and security (key/identity management) in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Background in software development, build/release processes, technical documentation, process flows, and third-party integrations.
