Job description

Background and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience in competitive intelligence and consulting to the pharmaceutical/biotech or medical device sectors is highly desirable.
The consultant position requires a self-starting individual willing to engage in conversations and develop relationships with a variety of sources in order to develop unique clinical and commercial insights.
Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and possess the ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of practical experience in the pharma/biotech or medical device industry
  • Excellent communication, research and writing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel globally
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A higher degree focused in life sciences (PhD, PharmD or MD) or MBA is preferred
  • Prior experience executing a variety of competitive intelligence projects over a range of clinical and commercial elements
  • Ability to speak foreign languages
  • Expertise in conducting primary interviews is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple new therapeutic areas
Additional responsibilities include developing client reports with detailed insights and analyses that drive client-specific solutions.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to juggle priorities with multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines. A fundamental knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques combined with knowledge of key issues and current developments within the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
