  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast, with clear visibility into deal status, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and other teams to develop executable customer solutions and commercial agreements.
  • Balance customer requirements with Switch’s capacity, operational, financial, and commercial considerations.

  • You build credibility with senior customer stakeholders through preparation, follow-through, and a strong understanding of their business.
  • You communicate complex business and technical information clearly and include the details others need to make decisions.
  • You bring structure and discipline to long, complex sales cycles.
  • You work effectively across teams and address issues directly when they could affect a customer or deal.
  • You balance customer needs with Switch’s business and operational requirements.
  • You reliably follow through on commitments and maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline information, and deal documentation.
What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • 12+ years of relevant sales experience, including significant experience selling data center, colocation, cloud, connectivity, mission-critical infrastructure, or related solutions.
  • Direct experience selling into hyperscale customers and navigating their technical, commercial, procurement, and executive stakeholder groups.
  • Experience leading complex, high-value, multi-year sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long decision timelines.
  • Strong understanding of hyperscale infrastructure requirements and consultative solution selling.
  • Experience developing account strategies and translating customer requirements into commercially viable solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage executive stakeholders and influence strategic decisions

  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working across technical, operational, financial, and legal teams to close complex transactions.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

Preferred:
