As a Senior Director of Strategy, you will be a key leader in driving Saviyntโ€™s market position through 3 major capacities:

This is a team management role that will also leverage your deep individual market knowledge in identity and access management to inform strategic priorities, shape our narrative with leading industry analysts, and empower internal teams with world-class competitive insights. This role requires phenomenal identity and access management experience, communication skills, the ability to create high-impact content, and strong cross-functional influence.

In this role, you will work on highly sophisticated problems, gain insight into the strategic issues which are at the forefront in the minds of the leadership team, have exposure to senior-level decision-making, influence product roadmap direction, and have the chance to create relationships with functions across the company.

We are looking for a strong background in industry strategy, research and advisory, analyst relations, and competitive intelligence, and demonstrated success in all areas of external communication and market analysis. We look for hardworking people with phenomenal presentation skills, keynote experience, deep IAM technology market expertise and the capability to build consensus and influence senior executives. Demonstrated ability to thrive in an unstructured, collaborative, and remote environment is ideal. Experience as a senior analyst, authoring analyst reports, authoring magic quadrants is appreciated.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Lead the Saviyntโ€™s industry strategy team, which includes Analyst Relations, Competitive Intelligence and Industry Standards. Manage all operations, P&L, invoicing, planning and performance management of the industry strategy team.
  • Contribute, research, write, present specific identity and access management content including market trends and competitive dynamics into actionable recommendations for field teams, marketing, product management, as well as the executive leadership team.
  • Drive and manage all industry strategy content for the assigned market segments. This leader owns the content and the team that feeds Saviyntโ€™s Analyst Relations (AR) programs and operations, including content for briefings, inquiries, and report submissions (e.g., Gartner MQs, Forrester Waves), ensuring Saviyntโ€™s story is accurately and favorably positioned.
  • Establish and lead a world-class Competitive Intelligence (CI) program for the assigned market segments, delivering timely, high-quality analysis and competitive sales enablement tools to sales, solution engineering (SEs), marketing and product teams.
  • Author, edit, and publish high-impact thought leadership reports, competitive analysis, and industry position papers that elevate Saviyntโ€™s brand and drive customer and analyst perception.
  • Deliver phenomenal presentations, including keynote speaking at internal and external events, representing Saviyntโ€™s strategy and vision to a global audience.
  • Work cross-functionally to structure problems, analyze opportunities, and work towards solutions and meaningful recommendations and results through a thorough, fact-based process.
  • Communicate effectively with and influence key stakeholders, including ELT, sales leadership, SEs, marketing, and product teams, to ensure strategic alignment and drive go-to-market initiatives.
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Must have 10-17 years of experience in a combination of Analyst Relations, Competitive Intelligence in the cybersecurity or identity and access management space.
  • Proven experience as a subject matter expert in identity and access management. Experience in IGA, PAM, Access Management or NHI is a differentiator.
  • Proven experience as a team leader or manager. Experience in leading Analyst Relations and CI teams is a differentiator.
  • Proven experience as an Analyst or managing Analyst Relations programs and achieving favorable report placements is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and publish in-depth reports, analysis, or strategic content for both executive and public consumption.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with demonstrated keynote or comparable high-visibility presentation experience.
  • Experience driving large initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research/analysis to building the business and operational plans through to driving execution to success is required.
  • Strong leadership and excellent written/verbal communications to work with senior executives across various geographies and functions; comfort in business and technical discussions.
  • Strong influencing skills; able to build and drive extended and virtual teams, including sales, SEs, and product.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high- growth environment.
Requirements:
  • Master of Business Administration strongly preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related subject area is appreciated.
