• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture patients' unique experiences and cultural contexts.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans by utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that resonate with patients' individual backgrounds.
• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a variety of mental health concerns while promoting skills for resilience and personal empowerment.
• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, therapeutic options, and navigate community resources to enhance care accessibility.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team case conferences, cultural competency training sessions, and contribute to an atmosphere of continuous learning.
• Stay updated with the latest research, methodologies, and culturally relevant practices in mental health therapy.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy that is culturally responsive to a diverse client base.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with an ability to remain composed in high-pressure scenarios.
• Superb interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for building rapport among diverse individuals.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• A strong commitment to maintaining ethical boundaries, patient confidentiality, and adherence to ethical guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team.

• Experience engaging with culturally diverse populations, especially within outpatient mental health settings.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies that cater specifically to varied cultural contexts.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or mental health advocacy work is a plus.
