The successful candidate will provide critical mental health support, therapeutic interventions, and case management for individuals experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Work Environment

Flexible scheduling options allow our team members to find a work-life balance that suits their personal needs, typically working Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. In this role, you will connect with clients virtually, utilizing advanced telehealth platforms to deliver therapy and assess patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and risk assessments to determine the best course of action for each client.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide trauma-informed care and crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring immediate and effective support.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care for clients.
  • Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and community resources available to support their recovery.
  • Assist clients in developing discharge and aftercare plans to ensure continuity of care and long-term recovery.
  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and facility guidelines to maintain the highest standards of practice in mental health treatment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and collaborative case consultations to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Healious Psychiatry, you will work predominantly with a diverse clientele experiencing varied mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and chronic stress. Our clients come from different age groups and backgrounds, allowing you to apply your expertise in a broad spectrum of therapeutic contexts. Qualifications
  • Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Missouri is required.
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in a mental health care or psychiatric setting.
