Salary: $85 hr - $115 hr

Location: Remote or one of our EAC office locations, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando or Tampa

Position: Civil Aviation Project Manager - Senior

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Management

  • Implements the company’s Project Management policies and procedures.
  • Develops scope of services and negotiates fees required for success.
  • Plans tasks required and leads a team to implement on-time/within budget.
  • Manages scope, identifying additional services and working with client to get additional fees.
  • Achieves high client grades by meeting/exceeding expectations.
  • Works with Project Accountant to invoice client accurately and on-time. Assists with collections when past due.

Engineering

  • Serves as Engineer of Record where needed.
  • Develops a sound engineering solution that safely satisfies the scope and needs of the client.
  • Implements the Quality Control Plan to deliver quality deliverables.
  • Develops production work plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Assist with preparation of scopes and budgets for new task orders or amendments.
  • Leads aviation airside and/or landside design project teams
  • Ensure proper codes, regulations and standards are being used by engineers on projects.
  • Provides the design staff with guidance and assistance on projects.
  • Knowledge of airport airside, landside and/or infrastructure projects, FAA and TSA regulations, and AIP funding requirements, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circular’s and Engineering Briefs
  • Familiarity with pavement design and FAAR Field Design Software

Business Development (BD)

  • Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients.
  • Seeks BD opportunities through active marketing with clients.
  • Participates in industry organizations and contributes to social media and internal intranet posts to further EAC’s brand.
  • Leads or contributes to BD pursuits. Develops Go/NoGo and Win Plans with winning concepts and strategies. Contributes technical write-ups. Develops presentations and participates in interviews.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Typically fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as PM for small- to large-sized projects with multiple disciplines and medium complexity (multi-disciplined services requiring coordination).

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
