ABOUT THE ROLE:

Would you like to make extra income working from home in your spare time? Airvet, Inc. is seeking licensed veterinarians to participate in telehealth video calls and chats addressing pet health issues. 

Airvet is one of the largest veterinary telehealth companies in North America, and we have helped over 200,000 pets connect with thousands of veterinarians. Calls and chats are primarily regarding cats and dogs, but if you're comfortable with other species, please let us know! 

We're seeking licensed veterinary consultants to join our expanding telehealth network. If you're passionate about supporting pet parents and can commit 4+ hours per week, this fully remote role could be a great fit.

In this role, you'll provide peace of mind and expert guidance to pet parents through scheduled telehealth visits, all from the comfort of your home.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Monitoring our portal, conducting scheduled visits, fielding teletriage requests, and responding to inquiries with empathy and professionalism

  • Conducting video and chat visits about canine and feline health problems

  • Completing follow-ups, including case documentation and administrative tasks
    Ensuring compliance with Airvet's best practices, service-level agreements (SLAs), and visit guidelines

  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and address operational challenges

  • Taking on additional duties as needed to support the Care Team

What would make you a strong fit for the role?

  • 2+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian

  • DVM or equivalent degree

  • Active Veterinarian License in the United States or a Canadian Province license 

  • Carry your own Active personal professional liability insurance 

  • A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace

  • A smartphone and either a desktop computer or a laptop are necessary

  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow training and protocol

  • Comfortable using desktop and mobile apps; highly proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with sound judgment

  • Adaptable and energized by a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

  • A compassionate communicator and creative problem-solver who strives to deliver outstanding client experiences

Compensation:
