Role: IT Project Manager - Maximo CMMS Implementation
Location: Remote (Must work EST hours)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of Maximo CMMS across multiple BCD sites. This role involves full project lifecycle ownership-developing detailed plans, driving project milestones, coordinating resources, reporting progress, and ensuring successful deployment across designated manufacturing locations.
Responsibilities
Implement Maximo CMMS for multiple BCD sites.
Develop and maintain a detailed project plan including milestones, action logs, resource tracking, and progress updates.
Organize and lead project meetings; drive deliverables to meet schedule commitments.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Monitor project phases and key milestones; identify risks and define mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to standard project management best practices and governance processes.
Report and escalate critical issues or timeline delays to leadership as needed.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: implementation checklists, site readiness reviews, closure reports, etc.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Expected Deliverables
Fully developed and maintained CMMS rollout plan.
Weekly status reports and executive summaries.
Successful deployment of CMMS across designated manufacturing sites.
Key Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end IT or system deployment projects.
Strong understanding of formal PM methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Hybrid).
Experience in manufacturing environments and/or CMMS or enterprise system implementations strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across diverse teams and regions.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize technical and business requirements clearly.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred, not required.
